Your Application to MUD 2025

There is no expectation for your application to include a specific project. The residency focuses on research, experimentation and collaborative exchange. You may want time away to develop specific ideas, or to join the community and participate in collaborative projects.

Some projects we're exploring this year include:

◆Creating an LED backdrop for the Barn Stage
◆Physical & analogue visuals, 9ch video installation
◆New screening room with quadraphonic audio installations
◆Expanding ceramics infrastructure e.g. DIY kick wheel, finding more ways to fire, microwave kiln, foraged glazes
◆Creating ceramic sculptures, mobiles, water features, dorodango, foraged material assemblages
◆Field recording & sound art, including multi-channel transducer-material feedback installation
◆2D works: mosaics, lino prints, alcohol inks, yopo paper

Application Form

Minimum 100 characters. Please describe your artistic practice and what you plan to work on during the residency.

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed by our selection committee. We consider the quality of your work, the potential for growth, and the diversity of our cohort.

Timeline

Applications close two months before the residency starts. Accepted applicants will be notified within two weeks of the application deadline.
